What do I need to mount my seat?Updated a year ago
This will depend on the type of seat you are using. There are two main types of seats; Bucket and Recliner.
As a general rule of thumb, Recliner seats will require Seat Sliders, and Bucket seats will require Side Brackets, with the sliders being optional.
Our line up of Advanced Seats include this. Both models of Advanced Bucket Seats will include the Side Brackets, and the three Recliner seat models will include the Seat Sliders.
There are some exceptions to this rule, but they are few and far between.
An easy to way to tell what is needed is to locate the mounting holes. On Recliner Seats, you’ll typically have 4 threaded mounting points on the bottom of the seat. On Bucket seats, you’ll typically have 2 threaded mounting points per side.
Bottom: Seat Sliders
Side: Side Brackets
If you are using a seat from a scrapyard, you’ll need the original mounting brackets.
