You'll notice our Gen2 collection of chassis are all mostly using Flat Faced aluminum (no extrusion on the outside). The ASR 4 is the only Gen2 chassis offered in Open Face.

Flat Faced aluminum is used to offer a sturdier and more aesthetically pleasing Racing Simulation chassis. The adaptability remains the same as with Open Faced aluminum thanks to our wide range of accessories. The shifter arm can also be flipped around so that the extrusion is on the outside, providing an even easier solution to mount shifters, handbrakes, etc.
