This is a question we get very often, and it's not a straightforward answer.

When it comes to Recliner Seats, there is quite a wide range of build quality, particularly in the reclining mechanism. Cost effective models such as our Advanced Recliner Seat and Advanced Premium Recliner Seat will be great for entry to mid range pedals, but will show some signs of movement when used with stiff pedals. Of course, the main reason why you'd want to go for a recliner seat is comfort/adjustability. But realistically, you'll be adjusting the mechanism once, maybe twice if your back hurts. See it like your real car, when is the last time you adjusted the reclining position? If you are using a stiffer set of pedals, we highly recommend opting for a high end recliner seat from the likes of Sparco or OMP, or going for a bucket seat.

Bucket Seats are our go to for the vast majority of our builds. The difference in sturdiness between different price points isn't as extensive as with Recliner Seats. Models like our Advanced Bucket Seat and Advanced Premium Bucket Seat will easily support even the stiffest pedals on the market. They aren't as adjustable as Recliner Seats, but often offer a more ergonomic seating position that hugs your body. Bonus immersion points for feeling like you're in a real race car!
